Lee Byre consists of a group of converted barns situated 10 miles from Tavistock, 7 miles from Launceston and 8 miles from Okehampton.

Tucked away in a sheltered valley that runs into the moor, 5 miles to the east, it is truly “far from the madding crowd”.

You may think you’ve taken a wrong turn as you leave the narrow country lane to take a stony farmtrack that runs between fields and up towards a wood – but you’re nearly there!
